What's On the Hook?

What's on the hook right now? Glad you asked!

I just finished crocheting my first Minion (from the movie Dispicable Me). And now I have several requests for more, so a small army of Minions will steadily grow from my stash.

I am also working on an afghan that I am designing. I started with a picture from a coloring book of a kaleidoscope image. I am using Caron Simply Soft Brites to give it bright colors. I am hoping that the end effect will be like a glowing stained glass window. Below is a picture of how far I have gotten on it. In the end it will be big enough to cover the top of a queen size bed. It will also be rectangular shaped when I am done and have a black background.  What do you think?

And of course no crocheter stops with just two projects. I am also working on a scarf and face-mask set for my nephew that have a Spiderman theme, a sweater-jacket for my niece with a horse on the back, a giant guitar shaped pillow for my other nephew, and some socks for myself.
